process mappingThis is a highly interactive exercise. Your employees know their processes best and in our work we encourage them to describe the process as it really is, not as it should be!

 

We use many techniques to map processes including formal interviews but find that informal workshops often bring out the best in people. In this instance we can use a mixture of “Post It” notes and rolls of wallpaper to allow employees to develop the picture of their process without the fear of making mistakes. These maps are then translated into software based versions for employees to verify and the organisation to study.
